Water Polo Hair announces its Mythical National Champions based on the results of the 2010 S & R Sport Junior Olympics in Los Angeles this month.

Socal Water Polo was awarded the 2010 Mythical National Championship Team with a total of 125 points.

San Diego Shores was awarded the 2010 Mythical Boys National Championship Team. Santa Barbara Water Polo Club was awarded the 2010 Mythical Girls National Championship Team.

The Scoring Process

Scoring was done by awarding 20 points for a gold medal performance, 15 points for a silver medal performance, 14 points for a bronze medal performance, 13 for fourth place and so on (1 point for 16th place).

Points were only awarded for the Platinum Division. The Girls Division included the 10U Coed Division. The total cumulative points included the 10U Coed, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U divisions.

Based on this scoring system,
the Top Ten teams included:
1.   Socal Water Polo – 125 points
2.   San Diego Shores - 104
3.   Santa Barbara Water Polo Club - 102
4.   LA Water Polo Club - 86
5.   Set Water Polo Club - 74
6.   Commerce Aquatics - 71
7. Huntington Beach Water Polo Club - 47
8.   United Water Polo Club - 46
9.   Lamorinda Water Polo - 38
10. Foothill Club Water Polo - 37
